Are you a Finance Business Partner with experience in Controlling ready to make a significant impact on a global organization?

In this key position you will be responsible, along with other colleagues within the Business Services team, for the 7 locations we have in The Netherlands. You are the liaison between Operations, Commercial & Supply Chain and you will provide Cluster management with actionable and valuable insights and help drive to Cluster performance.

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and proactive team member to join our Business Services team in Maastricht!

Your Impact in This Role

As Business Controller, (internally called Business Services Representative) your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Leading/coordinating the budget process including: analyzing budget gaps between Target plan & actual, propose countermeasures to managers, coordinate all budget reporting activities within department and presents to management
• Monitor of CAPEX investments and reporting
• Finance business partner for all 7 sites in the Netherlands
• Variance analysis, standard costing runs coordination, Sales Commissions monitoring, Transfer pricing update, BOMs and routings analysis and coordination of updates.
• Hands-on activities during period end closures if needed, such as GR/IR – Asset postings.
• Focus on finding continuous improvement and automation in our (financial) processes and systems
• Financial system expert (Power BI / S4 Hana / Excel)
• Prepare Gross margins analysis as well as root cause analysis
• Support with internal and external Audits

What You Bring to the Table

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance/Economics or equivalent
• 7-10 years’ experience in a similar Finance Business Partner role (ideally in a multi-site organization)
• Accounting background with good financial knowledge, ideally in production industry
• Proficient in ERP systems (SAP FICO, experience in S/4 HANA) as well as PowerBI is imperative
• Good knowledge of VAT legislation
• Knowledge of the principles of finance and accounting, budgeting and cost control
• Ability to analyse financial data, prepare financial reports, statements and forecasts
• Analytical thinking skills, attention to detail and with strong level of accuracy
• Ability to communicate (financial) information effectively & clearly
• Pragmatic, self-motivated, results-oriented, adaptable with the ability to work to numerous pressurized deadlines
• Strong team spirit required with the willingness to help others within the team and across the organization
• Ability to work within a multicultural environment
• Quick adaptor to new technology tools and processes
• Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Full proficiency in both English as well as Dutch is required (any additional language is a plus)
