Vacature All round mechanic

Bukom Service B.V. in Heerhugowaard is looking for an All-round mechanic. For over 40 years, Bukom has been the specialist in industrial cleaning, recycling, trade, and storage of vegetable flows.

As an All-round mechanic, you will work from the workshop in Heerhugowaard and be responsible for maintaining and overhauling all equipment at Bukom, such as trucks, high-pressure equipment, various pumps, etc. This includes investigating malfunctions and determining if immediate repair is necessary/possible. You will also assess the wear and tear condition and perform preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment. Additionally, you will be involved in disassembly, adjustment, and assembly operations. Lastly, you will responsibly record the time and materials spent and manage the inventory of parts. As an All-round Technician, you will work within a dedicated team, performing varied tasks in a role where no day is the same. You will also have the opportunity for development and internal advancement.

Your responsibilities at a glance:

• Keeping all our equipment ready for operation.
• Conducting inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Performing disassembly, adjustment, and assembly operations.
• Carrying out various construction activities.
• Reporting and accounting for work and materials.

For this position, we are looking for someone who:

• Works well in a team and is flexible.
• Holds welding certificates (or is willing to obtain them) and has an affinity for construction work.
• Has technical insight and can adapt quickly.
• Has completed at least a vocational education (mbo), preferably as a commercial vehicle technician.
• Possesses VCA Basic Safety (or is willing to obtain it).
• Is willing to work on standby duty when necessary.
