Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and strategic E-commerce Email Marketeer to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on creating and executing email marketing campaigns that drive engagement, increase sales, and promote our commitment to supporting garden wildlife and biodiversity.

Key Responsibilities:

Email Campaign Strategy:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive email marketing strategy that aligns with our business objectives and brand values.
• Plan and manage the email marketing calendar, ensuring timely and relevant communication with our audience.
• Content Creation and Management:
• Write compelling and engaging email copy that resonates with our customers and promotes our products.
• Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing email templates and graphics.

Automation and Optimization:

• Set up and manage email marketing automation workflows, including welcome series, abandoned cart reminders, and post-purchase follow-ups.
• Continuously optimize email campaigns through A/B testing, analysing performance metrics, and implementing improvements.

Performance Analysis:

• Monitor and report on key email marketing metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and revenue generated.
• Use data-driven insights to refine email strategies and enhance campaign effectiveness.

Customer Engagement and Loyalty:

• Develop initiatives to increase customer engagement, loyalty, and retention through email marketing.
• Create and promote exclusive offers, discounts, and educational content that encourage repeat purchases and brand advocacy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with the product, sales, and customer service teams to ensure email content aligns with overall marketing and business goals.
• Collaborate on integrated marketing campaigns that leverage multiple channels, including social media, website, and blog.

Market Research and Trends:

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in email marketing.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs and preferences, and incorporate findings into email strategies.
• Review current tooling and make recommendations for email ecosystem.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Email Marketeer or similar role, preferably in the e-commerce or environmental sector.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Dotdigital, Klaviyo) and CRM systems.
• Knowledge of email marketing best practices, including segmentation, personalization, and A/B testing.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
• Passion for biodiversity, garden wildlife, and environmental sustainability.
