Global Strategic Sourcing Manager 

32-40 hours | RENOLIT Healthcare | Hybrid work

Location and travelling 
You can perform your duties from multiple locations as needed, namely our head office in Enkhuizen, our Amsterdam Innovation Center in Oude Meer (near Schiphol Airport), and from home. Additionally, this role involves a significant amount of travel, averaging about one week per month. This includes visits to trade shows, international branches, and suppliers.

At RENOLIT, we constantly strive for future-proofing and want to optimally utilize our potential. This position is the architect of our global purchasing network. You will work within the Global Supply Chain department and are essential for optimizing our purchasing strategies for our four production locations and the Amsterdam Innovation Center (AIC) of RENOLIT Healthcare.

You will bear ultimate responsibility for the procurement of raw materials and serve as a source of inspiration for local purchasing teams, where you will foster a positive team atmosphere and ensure the right structure and preconditions. This enables the entire operational organization to perform optimally and achieve financial objectives.

In this role, you will report hierarchically to our Director of Global Supply Chain and will be responsible for a wide range of strategic and operational tasks that form the core of our global purchasing activities:

• You will develop and implement advanced purchasing strategies for all raw materials across our four production sites.
• You will directly manage our most important strategic suppliers worldwide and ensure excellent coordination with local Procurement Managers. You will also act as the 'lead buyer' for crucial raw materials used at multiple locations, to negotiate favorable and uniform terms.
• For raw materials used at multiple locations, you will ensure, in close consultation with local Procurement Managers, the harmonization of change management, specifications, supply agreements, and contracts.
• You will ensure that the local supply chain & sourcing in China is even better aligned with the local organization.
• You will work intensively with the Innovation Center and the Process Excellence and Product Development department to source new materials that align with future healthcare solutions.
• You will guarantee security of supply and meet the strict quality requirements of the medical sector. From a procurement perspective, you will proactively collaborate with Supply Chain and other stakeholders on risk assessment and a continuity program for all production sites.
• You will coordinate CAPEX projects from a procurement perspective, in alignment with the CAPEX coordinator.

Wat wij verwachten

• You have a higher professional education (hbo) working and thinking level, and preferably also a completed NEVI qualification.
• You have at least 8 years of experience in strategic purchasing within the manufacturing industry, ideally within chemical, pharma, or healthcare sectors.
• You have excellent command of the English language and are already residing in the Netherlands.
• You are a strong negotiator and have knowledge of production and R&D environments.
• You are capable of effectively managing your internal and external stakeholders.
• You can communicate and collaborate effectively with professionals from different countries and cultures.
• As your colleagues work in different time zones, you are willing to adjust your working hours as needed.
