The Biomedical Primate Research Centre (BPRC) is a leading international research institute dedicated to creating longer lives in good health, and a safe society. We conduct high-quality, ethically responsible biomedical research on life-threatening, high burden, infectious diseases, immune-mediated disorders and neurodegenerative diseases. By integrating non-human primate (NHP) models with advanced imaging, in- and ex-vivo approaches and innovative non-animal methods, BPRC generates unique translational insights that accelerate the development of vaccines, therapies and preventive strategies worldwide.

BPRC is at a pivotal moment in its history. In the coming years, we will further strengthen our scientific profile, expand public-private partnerships and diversify our funding base. This requires strong scientific leadership combined with strategic vision and external positioning.
