Vacature HR Officer & Immigration Specialist

The HR Officer & Immigrations Specialist is an HR professional who maintains control over immigration as well as daily HR matters, from initial application to full completion. Join our team in a collaborative and dynamic environment!

MAIN ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and coordinate immigration, work and residence permit processes for international employees.
• Prepare, review and maintain complete employee immigration files, ensuring all required documents are accurate and submitted on time.
• Monitor deadlines and validity dates for permits, visas, passports and other essential documents.
• Actively follow up on pending applications with employees, management, authorized representatives and relevant authorities.
• Identify and resolve delays or missing information to keep processes moving.
• Maintain an up-to-date overview of all ongoing immigration cases, deadlines and required actions.
• Handle day-to-day HR matters, including employee support, HR documentation and personnel administration.
• Draft and maintain employment contracts, letters and HR documentation.
• Maintain accurate personnel files, agreements and follow-up actions.
• Support recruitment, employee meetings and HR projects in collaboration with the HR Manager.
• Ensure matters are followed through from start to finish, taking ownership until each case or action is fully completed.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor degree in HR, Business Administration, Law or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in HR and/or immigration.
• Experience with immigration, work and residence permit procedures is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Curaçao labor law and local immigration procedures is a plus.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Proactive, hands-on and solution-oriented approach.
• Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines and priorities independently.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• Papiamentu and/or Spanish is an advantage.
