The challenge – Selling cool and appealing products with a fun new Sales team!
We are looking for an enthusiastic International Account Manager – Stock with a passion for fashion, games and entertainment, and an Account Manager who is ready for the next step. Someone with experience in selling to international retail partners who gets energy from building relationships and securing new business. Together with your team, you maximize revenue from existing stock positions, identify commercial opportunities across markets, and build sustainable partnerships with distributors and retailers.
In this role, you maintain active contact with existing accounts, but you are just as driven to pursue new opportunities. You don’t see this as an obstacle, but as a challenge. You work closely with colleagues from marketing and our design team to create new commercial opportunities. Affinity with entertainment, gaming and licensed lifestyle brands is a strong plus.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys international dynamics, and knows how to capitalize on commercial opportunities. You are the link between product offering, market and customer — and your impact is directly visible in revenue and margin.
Key responsibilities
- Manage, expand and develop an international customer portfolio, with a focus on long-term commercial relationships
- Actively sell available stock and contribute to the development of new stock
- Analyze stock rotation and develop sales strategies, set commercial targets, forecast and budget, identify commercial opportunities and translate them into concrete sales actions
- Leading a small Sales team (Account management & Sales Support)
- Conduct price negotiations, prepare quotations and close deals withing agreed margins
- Contribute to stock planning, pricing and promotions to maximize value from stock
- Maintain regular contact with international customers via phone, online meetings and participation in trade shows and international events
- Maintain internal collaboration with purchasing, logistics, design, licensing, marketing and finance to ensure smooth deal execution
- Prepare sales reports and analyze results
Key skills & competencies
- Strong commercial drive and result-oriented mindset
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Analytical ability (pricing, stock, margins)
- Proactive, independent, resilient, flexible; remain calm under pressure
- Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and experience with ERP systems and stock-driven processes
Je profiel
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in international
- Bachelor-level working and thinking skills, preferably in Commercial Economics and/or Marketing
- Willingness to travel internationally (trade shows)
- Hands-on mentality and strong sense of commercial opportunities
- Affinity with gaming, fashion and lifestyle is a plus
