Vacature IT System Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced IT Systems / Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. You will be a key player in our IT department, providing essential support to users across multiple locations, including Volendam, Edam, and internationally (EEA and Morocco).

• Is proactive, passionate about technology, and contributes to enhancing IT systems and processes

What You Will Do

• Tier 2 & 3 Support: resolving complex hardware, software, and network issues
• Factory Equipment Support: on-site and remote IT support for factory equipment at Volendam, Edam, and Morocco
• Mentorship & Training: guiding and coaching a junior IT Engineer, including professional development
• System & Process Improvement: identifying, analyzing, and implementing improvements to existing IT systems and processes to increase efficiency, user experience, and overall IT effectiveness
• Collaboration: working closely with the UK IT team to resolve issues, align projects, and ensure consistency across the organization
• First Line Support Coverage: providing first-line support as needed to ensure timely resolution of user requests
• Travel: occasional travel to remote sites within the EEA and Morocco for project implementation, IT support, and infrastructure maintenance

What You Bring

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an IT support / systems engineer role
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory & Azure AD
• Knowledge of virtualization (Hyper-V / VMware)
• Experience with Office 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams)
• Strong Windows 10/11 troubleshooting skills
• Basic to advanced knowledge of networking & security
• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
