Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Bid & Tender Manager to join our growing Sales & Marketing team at the head office in Delft.

In this role, you will support the bid and tender process while learning from experienced colleagues. You’ll work closely with account directors and technical experts to ensure proposals meet customer expectations, while also contributing to key commercial projects in business intelligence, marketing & communications, and digitization.

You will support the preparation of tenders and coordinate tasks to meet deadlines. If you’re looking for a dynamic, multifaceted role where you can grow your expertise in tendering and client relations, this position is ideal for you!

Your job

The following key activities play a central role in your job:

  • Primary responsibility for capturing sales opportunities while developing prospects relations and managing account relations together with the account directors;
  • Translating customer requests into winning commercial proposals, collaborating with account directors and technical experts on medium and large-scale bids. Managing the sales pipeline in our CRM system and communicating clearly about the progress of the monthly / quarterly sales goals;
  • Signaling and creating opportunities to realize individual sales targets and joint growth;
  • Continuously learning and developing skills in bid management, commercial processes, and industry best practices;
  • Leading or supporting marketing and business intelligence related projects..

Your profile

  • Experience in a similar job or other commercial role;
  • HBO+ (at least bachelor’s degree) work and thinking level;
  • Familiarity with the concept of Consultative Selling;
  • Understanding the procurement processes (e.g. RFI, RFQ, RFP, ITT);
  • Insight in the Logistics industry;
  • Strong skills in writing proposals in English;
  • Fluency in English is required, along with professional proficiency in at least one other European language (preferably French, German, or Dutch);
  • Proficiency with CRM-systems;
  • Affinity with and/or work experience in Marketing;
  • Comfortable with complex ICT topics;
  • Confidence to engage with technical experts to create the best commercial offer;
  • Candidates must be based in The Netherlands or have existing work authorization for the EU. Regular presence in the office for at least two days per week is expected.
