Vacature Logistics & Warehouse Assistant

Your role: As a Logistics & Warehouse Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our logistics operations and ensuring the smooth and safe handling of goods and materials. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to keep our warehouse organized, compliant, and efficient.

• Maintain accurate records of goods in the warehouse
• Ensure timely and correct storage and issuing of articles and goods
• Verify, count, and record incoming goods and articles
• Check shipping and receiving documents for accuracy
• Monitor minimum stock levels and notify when replenishment is needed
• Periodically verify deliveries against agreements
• Pack goods securely and ensure accurate labeling and documentation for shipments
• Arrange transportation based on internal client requirements
• Keep the warehouse well-organized and tidy
• Follow all occupational, environmental, quality, and safety requirements
• Use provided PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) correctly
• Report all incidents, accidents, and near-misses in line with procedures
• Participate in toolbox meetings (minimum 10 per year)
• Contribute to meetings and initiatives related to HSE, environment, quality, and safety

Who are you?
We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and self-sufficient professional who brings both technical ability and a team-focused mindset. The ideal candidate should have:

Knowledge and Skills

• Understanding of storage systems and article coding
• Familiarity with customs and legal requirements for storing and transporting goods internationally
• Knowledge of tools, materials, and components used to evaluate product appearance
• Awareness of handling requirements to prevent confusion or damage during storage and transportation
• Strong manual skills and the ability to operate packaging tools
• Proficiency in data entry and retrieval using a PC
• Experience with the storage and issuance of goods
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet trucks (forklift license is a plus)
