Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for creating flawless guest experiences? Join our team as a Maintenance Agent at Baoase Luxury Resort and play a vital role in delivering the seamless experience our guests expect.

MAIN ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance across guest rooms, villas, and resort facilities.
• Handle corrective maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC repairs.
• Respond promptly to guest and departmental maintenance requests.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe and proper working condition.
• Provide professional and courteous assistance to guests experiencing technical issues.
• Coordinate with the Front Office and Housekeeping departments to minimize guest disturbance during repairs.
• Monitor and report on safety systems to ensure compliance with regulations and resort standards.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs.
• Collaborate with other departments and report major technical issues to supervisors.
• Support resort presentation, landscaping projects, and event setups when required.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• Technical diploma or proven experience in maintenance, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a luxury hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented approach to work.
• Professional appearance with a guest-focused attitude.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch or Papiamentu is considered an advantage.
• Ability to anticipate needs, act proactively, and maintain discretion.
• Calm and professional demeanor that reflects Baoase’s luxury service standards.
