The position: Quality Assurance Manager

Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated professional to join us as a Quality Assurance Manager. As a key member of the senior leadership team and the site QMS Management Representative, the Quality Assurance Manager is accountable for developing and deploying improvement activities to continuously enhance product quality and associated systems, as well as ensuring the adherence and effective execution of the organization’s Quality Management System.

This role works onsite at our DTC Almere facility.

Primary responsibilities:

Analyze Quality Data to drive robust Root Cause Corrective Action initiatives reducing customer escapes and Scrap/Rework/Repair costs for the site;

• Ensures that quality improvement plans align to site level improvement targets and long term strategies;
• Leads activities to develop robust inspection plans (CMM, hand gauges and Non Destructive Inspection), including sampling;
• Accountable for proper execution of PPAP for New Product Introduction and product or process changes;
• Develops strategies to improve the overall effectiveness of the site level QMS to support compliance to EN/AS9100, NADCAP and customer specific requirements;
• Conduct periodic reviews and updates of the QMS to ensure its ongoing suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness;
• Works closely with customers to ensure customer specific requirements are fully understood and implemented within the operations;
• Accountable for assessing and optimizing the organizational structure of the quality team to ensure proper support of the organization;
• Accountable for leading and developing a team of quality professionals.

Qualifications / Experience needed:

• Requires a University or Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years prior relevant experience;
• Knowledge and experience in Quality Management and Project Management;
• Knowledge and experience in Quality Control Systems and auditing;
• Knowledge and experience in process improvement techniques;
• Knowledge and experience with GD&T to assess product;
• Proficient in both Dutch and English languages, both written and spoken;
• Affinity with the aerospace industry;

Salary: € 6.500 - € 8.000 gross per month based on a 40-hour workweek
