The position: Quality Technician

Collins Aerospace is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our Quality team. In this vital role, you will provide essential day-to-day quality support, ensuring our products meet rigorous standards and contributing directly to the efficiency and success of our manufacturing operations.

This role works onsite at our DTC Almere facility.

Primary responsibilities:

• Responsible for the control (ordering, calibrating, and maintaining) measurement equipment within the facility;
• Complete process verification loges and specific dimensional inspections to support production and/or the containment of suspect material;
• Develop and maintain a robust process for the control of production records;
• Support the Dimensional and Non-Destructive Inspection team, to ensure on time delivery of product, when the need arises;
• Monitor shop floor operations and collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure compliance with company policies, and regulatory requirements;
• Perform in-process and final inspections of products to verify conformance to specifications and drawings.

Qualifications / Experience needed:

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field;
• Experience with manufacturing processes in the aerospace industry is a plus;
• Experience with quality standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001 is a plus;
• Experience with measurement tools (CMM, Ultrasonic and other hand tools) is a plus;
• Attention to detail: the ability to spot small discrepancies and meticulously follow procedures;
• Organizational skills: the ability to keep accurate records, managing samples, and maintaining a tidy workspace;
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English languages, both written and spoken;

Salary: € 2.700 - € 3.500 gross per month based on a 40-hour workweek
