The working hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

Are you in the process of obtaining a CE driver's license and would you like to gain experience as a shunter? Or do you have a T driver's license? Then you are definitely eligible!

The job description of a shunter

• Shunting work on the Janus Vaten site;
• Driving a terminal tractor with and without a covered semi-trailer;
• Transporting goods from the Janus Vaten site to a location on the same industrial estate and to our garage;
• Proficiency in spoken Dutch or English.

In the position of yard operator, you will be responsible for moving and docking trailers and/or containers on our company premises using a terminal tractor. You will be responsible for ensuring that everything runs smoothly. The work is carried out entirely during daytime hours. You will also deliver and collect the trailers to and from our own garage. In this position, you will work closely with your colleagues in the Field Service team. Your assistant (group leader) will be your permanent point of contact, as will the logistics department.

• You do not have a 9-to-5 mentality.
• You can work independently or are willing to learn how to do so quickly;
• You recognize yourself in the following characteristics: flexible, proactive, and stress-resistant;
• You communicate well with your team, ask questions, and check the work;
• You feel comfortable in a young, dynamic environment.
