Vacature Steward/Dishwasher

MAIN ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Wash, sanitize, and store kitchen equipment, cookware, utensils, dishes, and glassware. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen, stewarding, storage, and waste disposal areas. Ensure dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment are operated safely and efficiently. Remove garbage and recycling materials according to company procedures. Support the Culinary team with basic kitchen cleaning and setup duties. Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing supplies when required. Maintain adequate stock of cleaning chemicals and stewarding supplies. Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times. Report equipment malfunctions, breakages, or safety concerns to supervisors. Support special events, banquets, and high-volume operations as needed. Ensure all work areas remain clean, organized, and ready for service. 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS 

Previous experience in stewarding, dishwashing, kitchen cleaning, or hospitality operations is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of basic hygiene and food safety standards. Ability to lift and carry heavy items when required. Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and shifts. Positive attitude and willingness to support the Culinary team. Reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented. Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
