International School Hilversum is looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:

• Experience with any IB Programmes will be an advantage however not essential.
• A teaching qualification and eligibility to work in the Netherlands is essential.
• The school cannot cover relocation costs or a work visa for this role.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• 0,5fte (two and half days) with a Thursday as non-negotiable.

Responsibilities:

The vacancy is for the school year 2025-2026 and will start 1 August 2025.

International School Hilversum is looking for a Music and Drama teacher to teach music and drama to all classes in it's Primary Year's Programme.

The PYP puts together a whole school musical bi-annually and the suitable candidate should be able to lead this project.

The role also involves teaching music in the secondary school as a part of our STEAM programme, as well as music to our grade 6 (MYP1) class.

The role could include the student school band and drop in music lessons for secondary students, as well as the general promotion of music

appreciation and enjoyment in the school. You will also support the Theater Department with the annually secondary school play.

Working days can be discussed but is dependent on the timetable.
Salary will depend on your background and experience in accordance with the Dutch CAO-PO. This includes benefits like a year-end bonus and travel allowance.
We cannot offer international relocation costs or housing.
