We are looking for a teacher of Mathematics who want to stimulate student's creativity and natural curiosity. Join our Mathematics team of engineers, dancers, coders and more.

• You have a recognised (DUO bevoegd) teaching qualification.
• You have a masters degree in Mathematics or related field.
• You have experience in teaching Mathematics at secondary school.
• You have experience with teaching IB DP and MYP mathematics courses.
• You have a multidisciplinary interest(s) and would be keen to get involved in school life beyond just your lessons.
• You live in the Netherlands and have a work visa or European/NL passport.
• Your have an excellent command of English.

You will join the Mathematics Department

You will teach from 12 - 18 years old students in the International Baccalaureate Programme.

You are responsible, with your colleagues, in designing the curriculum. The team is experienced and well established and you will receive guidance and support. We are particularly interested in candidates that want to join the school and get involved for example as a mentor, the Duke of Edinburgh International award, student clubs and more.

Start date

1 October 2026.

We belong to the Alberdingk Thijm Scholen group and enjoy the support of our board and collaboration with our sister school International School Laren.

We are in the heart of Hilversum within 15 minutes walk from Hilversum station or 10 minutes walk from Hilversum Sportpark station. We also have a parking space offering free parking to staff on the school grounds.

Working days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Salary will depend on your background and experience in accordance with the Dutch CAO-VO. This includes benefits like a year-end bonus and travel allowance.

We cannot offer international relocation costs or housing.
