COMMERCIAL TRAINEE
Location: Rotterdam
Within the Commercial Trainee Program, you will unlock your full potential. At Olenex we need people who are passionate about solving different commercial challenges for today and tomorrow.
We’ve designed a Commercial Trainee Program for 18 months where the Trainee will learn as much as possible within the commercial department. There are four major parts of the program: Account Management, Account Support, Customer Service and Product Line Management. During this Program you will not only develop your commercial and communication skills. You will learn to oversee between sales and the surrounding departments to be able to understand the bigger picture.
You will follow a training plan which balances business requirements and personal development. You will be supported by a mentor. During your traineeship, you will also learn about contract law, logistics, contract execution, risk management, and the financial implications of sales.
A successful graduated traineeship will open the potentials to grow into a commercial role within the company.
Main responsibilities:
- Support Account Managers within the day to day business;
- Supporting with contractual management of the portfolio and learning about price building mechanism;
- Support the production planning team, spend few days in the factory and get a good impression of our refineries and production processes.
- Learning about commercial negotiations and communication with the customers and supporting with market studies;
- Join customer service to get familiar with the contract execution and all related processes;
- Attend different kind of regular meetings and being part of business discussions.
Who are you:
To join #TeamOlenex we’re looking for ambitious and self-driven candidates, who are willing to learn and develop themselves. You have a commercial mindset and good communication skills. Further:
- Bachelor or Master degree (Economics, Business, Agriculture or similar);
- Excellent communication skills in English (speaking and writing, Communication skills in German are considered a plus);
- Personal competences as: Team player, Ambitious, Commercial and Customer Orientated;
- Fulltime available.
