For our Central Post office in the center of Rotterdam, we are looking for a highly service-minded and hands-on

 Customer service Representative

Location: Central Post Rotterdam, The Netherlands

As a Customer Service Representative, order handling and contract management are part of your daily responsibilities. You handle customer’s requests throughout the Outbound Supply Chain and voice-back relevant information towards the Sales team and other departments. You will be the dedicated contact person for customers for everything that relates to their loadings and/or deliveries. You are responsible for your own portfolio and in this way, you will develop extensive relationships with your customers.  

You will be working in a professional team with multiple nationalities. You will be part of the customer service team, consisting of 14 members.

Your responsibilities are:

  • Dedicated contact for a defined customer portfolio;
  • Handling customer requests regarding orders;
  • Coordination with logistics on daily transports;
  • Solving planning issues in cooperation  with production;
  • Communication between the customer and the organization;
  • Handling transport related extra costs.

Who are you?

You are very service-minded and customer-orientated. Besides a structured way of working you are also flexible when unpredictable situations arise. You demonstrate strong communication skills and you can both work independently  and as a team player. In addition, you have or are:

  • Bachelor degree in Business administration/communication or similar;
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience in using ERP systems , Oracle is a plus;
  • Fluent in English and Dutch and/or German or Spanish would be beneficial;
  • Fulltime available.
