Why this role matters

This is where design direction meets real product impact. As our Junior Manager Product Design Outerwear, you help shape seasonal outerwear collections that stay true to the brand and align with market trends and consumer expectations. You guide the outerwear team through the calendar, raise the quality of execution, and make sure design handovers translate into prototypes that land right in fit, construction and detail.

You are here to make sure the team turns ideas into outerwear that performs, season after season.

What you’ll do

• Guide the day-to-day planning and workflow for the outerwear design team throughout the year calendar;

• Mentor junior designers and interns with clear feedback and direction;
• Build strong seasonal collections that align with brand DNA and commercial reality;
• Collaborate closely with merchandising and development to ensure feasibility, costing and execution;
• Lead design handovers with development to kick off prototyping and sampling;
• Select and source fabrics, trims and materials that match the collection vision;
• Review samples and lead fit sessions with the team to raise the bar on fit, construction and design details;
• Create clear tech packs, design specs and bills of material for development and production;
• Research global trends, silhouettes, fabrics and colors to keep design relevant and fresh;
• Attend industry fairs and shopping trips to stay close to innovation;
• Present trend and product opportunities to the Senior Design Manager PME Legend at the start of each design cycle;
• Integrate sustainability thinking into decisions across the product lifecycle.

What you bring

• A degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design or a related field;
  
• Strong experience in fashion design, ideally within menswear or outerwear;
  
• Proven experience working with global suppliers and manufacturers;
  
• Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign;
  
• Fluent English, with Dutch as a plus;
  
• The confidence to guide junior designers and interns while staying hands-on yourself.
