Due to the continuous growth and expansion of our activities, we are currently looking for a detail-oriented and organised:

Operations Executive (Packed)

This role coordinates the physical and administrative flow of all inbound and outbound shipments in the most cost-efficient way to ensure the factories and/or customers are supplied on time and that sales and purchase agreements are met. This position is an attractive position as it covers the whole logistic chain from A to Z. French and/or Spanish speakers have a preference.

Main responsibilities:

• Prepare and agree on the supply chain planning for our packed goods with suppliers to ensure our customers are supplied on time
• Manage all shipments and deliveries in line with our sales and purchase agreements
• Arrange & handle shipping documents for import and export shipments and bookings in SAP and other systems. Manage the customs documentations
• Check and approve all relevant invoices (shipping documents., approval for payments in SAP etc.)
• Prepare (provisional or final) commercial invoice and delivery documents for customers
• Arrange additional transport where needed and purchase logistical services. Charter trucks, iso tanks, and warehousing to ensure proper execution of contracts
• Arrange, track delivery schedules, and monitor vessels positions
• Manage the inventory/stocks in cooperation with warehouses
• Ensure timely and accurate communications with warehouses, shipping agents/-lines, suppliers and customers, internal and external stakeholders
• Monitor loading and discharge process of incoming and outgoing parcels
• Handle demurrage calculations for vessels, trucks, and containers
• Enter and follow up complaint/non-conformities and provide corrective and preventive action in NCIP tool

We are looking for a candidate with:

• MBO+/Bachelor or any proven education background in logistics
• At least 5 years’ experience in a comparable role
• Experience in companies engaged in export/import and/or trading activities is preferred
• Well-developed communication skills in English (spoken and written), French and/or Spanish is a plus
• Good skills and knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT)
• Knowledge of import and export documentations and procedures
• Knowledge of transport and storage of bulk and packed cargo is preferred
• Good skills in ERP (SAP) software are preferred
• Pro-active and eager to find solutions and solve issues quickly
• Responsible and able to prioritize to meet short deadlines
