Are you analytically strong, commercially driven, and detail-oriented? Then we are looking for you!

For our Commercial Department, we are looking for an ambitious Commercial Control Employee. In this role, you will be a key link within our organization and contribute to the optimization of commercial processes. You will work in a small, dedicated team within a larger commercial department, where we collaborate daily to provide excellent service to customers across various segments and regions.

In this position, you will support Commercial Managers by processing requests for quotation and tenders, preparing accurate cost calculations, price proposals, quotations and commercial presentations. You will work closely with Pricing Managers, Procurement, Customer Service to ensure that customer requests are translated into complete, competitive proposals and that commercial agreements are transferred accurately into the organization.

You will collect and analyze market and competitor information, provide relevant insights to Commercial Managers, and help identify suitable transport solutions. You have good knowledge of procurement principles and market dynamics related to sea freight, intermodal transport, depots, and agent networks, including contract structures, pricing mechanisms, and supplier agreements.

Furthermore, you will actively contribute to improving commercial processes and systems, with attention to efficiency, automation and sustainability. You support Commercial Managers with sustainability-related information for customers. You will report to the Team Leader Commercial Control and will have ample opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Your Profile

• Minimum completed secondary vocational education, with demonstrable bachelor-level working and thinking ability.
• Strong commercial insight.
• Good command of English; knowledge of a local language is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and an affinity with the transport and logistics sector.
• Experience in logistics or a commercial role is an advantage, as is experience with CRM and calculation software.
• A proactive and accurate way of working, with the ability to manage deadlines and coordinate with different internal stakeholders.
