We are growing and therefore looking for a new colleague to join our company in the position of:

PLANNER

JOB PURPOSE

•  To maximise the service levels to the customer
• Minimise the waste levels on site
• Maintain stock holding between agreed targets

CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS

• Monitor current raw material stock holding levels against customer forecasts and orders, maintaining targeted levels by flower type
• Minimising waste through the use of ratio’s and concessions with customers
• Scheduling of Packhouse volumes
• Management and accuracy of the MRP
  Ensuring the Production and Warehouse teams have all the stock required 12 hours in advance of packing needs.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing the flow of materials from ordering with growers to delivery at the back door
• Being the link between buyer and growers – ensuring ongoing, strong relationships are built and maintained
• Ensuring all orders are placed with growers for next 1-3 weeks in advance
• Where there are gaps in supply, you will be responsible to fill gaps by working with current suppliers and the buying team
• Control and management of raw material stock holding between targeted levels by flower type
• Minimising waste through the control ratio’s and customer orders
• WO’ raising and ensuring the stock is available to complete the pick in full by managing ratio’s and inbound supply

THE CANDIDATE

To be succesfull in this role the ideal candidate must have:

• Excel skills – intermediate to advanced level;
• Previous planning experience within a short shelf-life product is desirable;
• Experience to make decisions based on the information available;
• Change Management experience;
• Strong analytical skills; 
• Strong communication skills in English, Dutch is preffered;
• This is a demanding role with a “can do” and problem solving mentality and not a 9-5 commitment in the peak seasons;
• Ability to work efficiently, accurately and effectively under pressure and simultaneous deadlines;
• You're flexible, working in shifts and weekends is mandatory within this role.
