MM Flowers is an international business specialising in the sourcing, production, and distribution of fresh flowers and gifting solutions for leading retail partners across Europe and the UK.

As part of our continued growth, we are investing in a major new operational hub in Euskirchen, Germany. This modern facility includes a 10,000 m² production and warehousing environment, designed to support high-volume, fast-moving operations with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on and technically strong Printroom & Process Manager to lead our Printroom operations and act as a key ERP process expert on site.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Printroom department, leading Section Managers and operatives, and ensuring production targets, quality standards, and operational KPIs are consistently achieved.

You will also act as a key user and process expert for our ERP system, supporting training, process optimisation, and acting as the link between operations, IT, and external developers.

What you will do

Printroom operations & leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop Section Managers and Printroom Operatives
• Ensure efficient daily Printroom operations with minimal downtime
• Plan labour and resources based on production demand
• Drive a high-performance, accountable team culture

ERP & process ownership

• Act as key ERP system user and process expert
• Train and support employees in correct ERP usage
• Act as interface between Operations, IT, and external developers
• Identify and resolve ERP-related process issues impacting productivity

Operational performance

• Monitor and achieve KPIs related to productivity, quality, and efficiency
• Analyse performance data and implement corrective actions
• Ensure alignment with production schedules and business targets

Quality, safety & compliance

• Ensure all Printroom outputs meet customer specifications and quality standards
• Maintain full compliance with health & safety and GMP standards
• Conduct regular safety inspections and drive corrective actions

Continuous improvement

• Identify and implement process improvements in Printroom and ERP workflows
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Drive lean thinking and continuous improvement initiatives

Stakeholder & reporting

• Collaborate with Production, Training, HR, and IT departments
• Provide regular performance and KPI reporting to Production Management
• Support forecasting, staffing plans, and operational reporting

What we are looking for

Essential experience & skills

• Experience managing production or operational teams (manufacturing or print environment preferred)
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Experience working with ERP systems as a key user or process expert
• Strong understanding of KPIs, operational performance, and process control
• Knowledge of health & safety in production environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in German and English

Desirable

• Experience in print production or similar technical production environments
• Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
• Experience working with HR processes (disciplinaries, performance management)
