MM Flowers is a dynamic and rapidly growing company supplying fresh flowers and bouquets to the retail sector in the UK and Europe. We are looking for a driven Teamlead Depatch to join our team! Do you want to play a key role in a fast-paced logistics environment? Then this is your chance!

Your Role

As a Teamleid  Despatch, you will be responsible for overseeing daily despatch operations during your shift. You will ensure all customer orders are shipped accurately and on time while maintaining high standards of efficiency, safety, and compliance. Additionally, you will be an inspiring leader, motivating and developing your team, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to minimise delays and maximise operational efficiency.

Your Responsibilities

• Operational Execution: Ensure smooth daily operations and timely despatch of customer orders.
• Team Development: Build a motivated, skilled, and engaged team ready to meet operational demands.
• Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with hauliers and logistics partners.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Peak Periods: Effectively plan and coordinate increased volumes during peak periods.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Your Profile

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience in a supervisory or management role within a despatch or warehousing environment.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships.
• Strong organisational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and GMP regulations and practices.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Experience using ERP and WMS systems (e.g., Rubicon).
• Formal training in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement.
• Health & Safety qualification (IOSH or equivalent).
