Job Description: Technical Specialist

As a Technical Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our European customers and ensuring the seamless operation of our cutting-edge imaging systems. Your responsibilities will include:

• Serving as the primary European point-of-contact for WB360 customers on all technical matters, collaborating with colleagues to provide exceptional support.
• Organizing and maintaining an adequate inventory of spare parts.
• Planning, installing, and training users on Canfield’s full range of imaging systems, including the WB360 and Clinical Services Study equipment.
• Providing on-site and remote troubleshooting and technical support for all products in the Canfield portfolio.
• Training and supporting Canfield distributors.
• Conducting equipment repairs on-site and at Canfield locations.
• Representing Canfield at congresses and trade shows as a Technical Representative.
• Traveling to the US and other Canfield offices for meetings, training, and additional support.
• Being available for short-notice travel, including weekdays and weekends, as required.
• Participating in office-related activities and contributing to regulatory compliance by completing training for Clinical Services SOPs and Working Instructions.

Core Requirements:

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications and skills:

• A university degree or equivalent in a technical discipline or related field.
• Fluency in English (written and oral) and at least one other prominent European language.
• Willingness and ability to travel globally without restrictions.
• Up to 75% travel from our office in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
• A passion for emerging technologies, systems, and implementations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, and command-line tools.
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Advanced photography experience.
• Strong organizational, planning, and scheduling skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear and concise information delivery.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
• The ability to manage numerous tasks and administrative details in a fast-paced setting.
• Sound judgment and the ability to make independent decisions.
• Excellent self-motivation and initiative.
